Workplace Operations Manager

The Workplace Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the facilitation of an ongoing delightful experience for all employees of Lyft by providing consistent operational support and managing an inclusive and safe environment for Lyft employees.

  • Actively participate in facilitating an ongoing delightful employee experience by overseeing the consistent delivery of exceptional operational and facilities support in our various office and field locations
  • Manage all day to day operations for each location and delegate tasks to Workplace Operations team members on site as needed
  • Manage relationships between property management and landlords
  • Manage all vendor operations and relationships including but not limited to; janitorial, food/beverage service, internal security and others as needed. Heavily involved in the RFP/SOW process for potential vendors
  • Manage the OPEX budget for ongoing operations and events 
  • In office requirement 5 days a week 
  • Oversee the management of the Zendesk ticket workflow for all locations and respond to escalated tickets as necessary  
  • Partner with the Physical Security team to ensure all security standards are in place and adhered to at all times. Receive, assess, solve for or escalate to the Director of Global Workplace Operations any escalated security and operational issues that arise in any location 
  • Partner with Development to assist with new employee seating assignments and make adjustments in seating assignments as needed
  • Manage additional Workplace Operations team members and provide coaching, guidance, feedback and structure to support their professional growth and development 
  • Assist senior management in overseeing the opex budget for the property(s)
  • Coordination of facility maintenance, improvements and construction as necessary
  • Other site specific duties required by the property in question
  • Travel to other locations when necessary

  • Capable of prioritizing tasks/duties as assigned and delegating tasks as needed
  • 5+ years of Customer Service experience
  • 5+ years of Workplace Operations experience
  • Previous people management experience required

This role is on-site at a Lyft location full time. 

The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $144,000 - $160,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
