We’re looking for an experienced Web Developer to help bring our brand to life by building and maintaining beautiful, performant, accessible web experiences.  


Reporting to an Engineering Manager, you’ll partner with designers, marketing, researchers, support, writers and product managers to build compelling, high quality, web experiences. Working within our Engineering organization, you would work cross-functionally and independently on the development of Tailscale.com, internal and external web tooling, marketing communications, branding initiatives and more. 


We’re a fully-remote company and are looking for a curious, strategic, creative developer who is passionate about web technologies and thrives on collaborative work.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain tailscale.com - from landing pages, to docs and sales forms, to knowledge-base tooling. 
  • Understand our product, culture and brand; help us tell a coherent, compelling story through vibrant, impactful web implementation. 
  • Maintain and improve our self-serve content publishing workflows for cross-functional partners via our CMS (sanity.io) for creators across the company.
  • Working cross-functionally with BizOps, ensure proper implementation of our analytics and tracking gear to support data-driven decisions by the go-to-market team.


Requirements

  • Experience working with NextJS, Sanity, Vercel, Hubspot and TailwindCSS
  • Deep understanding of web technologies, standards, performance and accessibility considerations
  • Working knowledge of a relevant CDP (such as: Rudderstack, Segment, Snowplow, Heap, mParticle, Optimizely)
  • Design driven development — you understand that implementation details matter
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and work independently
  • Experience with Headless CMS, Utility Class CSS Frameworks
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, segmentation and experimentation tools


It's nice if you have

  • Experience implementing micro animations, and interactive graphics
  • Experience creating visual material for complex SaaS technology solutions at a B2B or enterprise technology company.
  • Experience maintaining, and standardizing the use of brand guidelines.
  • Experience with Rudderstack 
  • You know how to build and advocate for clear and engaging interactive experiences.

CAN Pay Ranges

$191,620 - $239,860 CAD
