IN A NUTSHELL…

The Web Designer ideates, creates, tests, and executes their designs for a wide variety of channels across several markets including websites, email, mobile, and apps. This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to take an idea and run with it.


This role is with Surterra Wellnessone of the renowned retail brands under the Parallel umbrella. Parallel is one of the largest multi-state cannabis companies in the world, owning and operating in five markets; Florida (Surterra Wellness), Massachusetts (NETA), Pennsylvania (Goodblend), Nevada (a Joint Venture with Cookies) and Texas (Goodblend). WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Provide guidance and feedback to key stakeholders and to inspire other creative associates.
  • Maintain and elevate design standards across our platforms
  • Work closely with the digital team in the production and execution of digital content
  • Support market leads in ongoing campaigns
  • Design industry leading content
  • Develop best practices for key digital processes
  • Think outside of the box to take our digital experiences to the next level
  • Solution enhancements with our IT team


EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING

Required

  • Age 21 or over
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
  • 3+ years professional experience within web design/front-end development fields
  • A degree in a relevant digital field of marketing, design, or coding
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate the status of projects and maintain deadlines


Preferred

  • Solid visual design understanding and the ability to critique and receive critiques for improvements
  • A strong understanding of the Webflow platform
  • Proficiency in front-end coding languages; HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Proficiency in the adobe design suite
  • Proficiency in figma, or any similar web design software


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. 
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. 
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery 
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with other employees/customers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
