VP, Total Rewards

DESCRIPTION

  • Monitors the effectiveness of existing total rewards policies, guidelines and procedures, recommending plan revisions as well as new plans that are cost-effective and consistent with market trends and company objectives; coordinates implementation and provides guidance to leadership.
  • Manages and administers the salary review programs. Analyzes pay practices and makes recommendations for salary changes to ensure internal and external equity.
  • Ensures the annual benefits open enrollment is administered timely and highlights any new benefit offerings.
  • Supervises the participation in, conducts and/or purchases salary surveys to ensure compensation objectives are achieved.
  • Manages variable and non-variable compensation programs, including short and long-term incentive plans as well as B-share equity program, for employees to support the organization's objectives. Evaluate program effectiveness and competitiveness and make recommendations to management.
  • Works with the benefits brokers to ensure benefits programs remain competitive.
  • Manages the job evaluation process and develops the foundation for job descriptions across the organization
  • Keeps apprised of federal, state and local compensation and benefits laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Experience with implementing and administering executive compensation programs
  • Proficiency in MSOffice suite; advanced excel skills strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex and confidential information at various levels within the company
  • Experience with compensation survey software and ERP systems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining attention to detail and excellent client service


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years in a progressive compensation role, including 5+ years in a leadership role administering base and variable compensation programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources or a related field; Master's degree preferred but not required
  • CCP strongly preferred


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Directly manages compensation and benefits analysts. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Salary range for this position is $160,000 to $225,000
