  • Provide a risk-based review and challenge of loss events and issues to ensure root cause analysis and control gaps are being adequately identified, actioned, reported and escalated to all necessary stakeholders.
  • Ensure appropriate monitoring is in place to identify early warnings (e.g., KRIs, KPIs, KCIs, OKRs) so that corrective action can be taken before risks materialize.
  • Identify emerging and thematic risk exposures and ensure these are appropriately assessed and actioned upon.
  • Provide an independent assessment of business exposure resulting from technology related risks and control gaps to assist the business in understanding, managing, and mitigating the right risks in line with their business strategy and objectives.
  • Ensure risks and exposures are transparent to senior management and other stakeholders so that they can be acted upon in a timely manner.
