VP, Regulated Services Product Manager

Atlanta, GA

This role acts as the overall owner of the Regulatory Services product line, including Disputes, Free Credit Report, and Lock & Freeze. Defines the why, when, and what of the product that the engineering team builds. Leads cross-functional teams from a product's conception all the way through to its launch to sunsetting. This individual will oversee the Internal Product Management organization of managers and professionals focused on the definition and ultimate build of internal systems/products/processes that map to business goals and our vision for scale, innovation, and efficiency while also identifying benefits/risks to build-buy approach.

 

What You Will Do

  • Act as overall owner of the Regulatory Services product line inclusive of opportunity assessment, strategy, target segment, and growth and development roadmap - including Disputes, Free Credit Report, and Lock & Freeze
  • Drive the development of the organizational strategy and the build of the internal roadmap through a deep understanding of internal customer/department needs, business goals, approaches and complexities
  • Proactively identify market trends or changes in business direction that may impact internal roadmap and communicate changes to team members
  • Understands the product line end to end from idea to build through to in-market performance. Owns the product lifecycle and its management
  • Conducts business case level analyses inclusive of market opportunity, distribution strategy and overall P&L of the product line itself
  • Creates the high level business and functional requirements to meet customer’s needs; including workflow and use cases
  • Lead a team that helps drive for success
  • Understands customer insights, usability studies, competitive research, and analytics to drive innovation across the product line and help influence customer and product experiences
  • Partners with the CX/UX team on creating product experience
  • Act as the main product interface across multiple components of the business

 

What Experience You Need

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Technology or related discipline; or equivalent experience.
  • 10 - 15 years of product management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working in the D2C space within Financial Services and/or FinTech

 

What Will Set you Apart

  • Experience in regulatory product or industry
  • Previous experience with cross-functional cloud technology products preferred
  • ​Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders without having a formal reporting relationship - including the ability to exert virtual influence across the enterprise
  • Experience in product marketing and/or technology roles. Ideal candidate have strong business orientation
