VP, Pharma - Public Relations

Lippe Taylor is seeking an experienced and ambitious Vice President for its New York office who wants to be part of a fast-paced, growing and engaged independent agency that creates integrated marketing communications solutions for clients. 

 

We deliver breakthrough ideas, culturally relevant pharma and wellness programs and execute with excellence to our longstanding client partners. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in marketing and PR disciplines, and strong experience in pharma or biotech, targeting both consumers and HCPs. The business provides a great opportunity for growth as we are the AOR for PR, influencer, corporate and social media initiatives.

 

The Vice President is responsible for managing client and interagency relationships, playing a critical role in determining the future and long-term success of our Health Practice. The VP will be responsible for all aspects of a client relationship and account team. She/he will supervise two multi-million dollar pieces of business with multiple work streams and team members. Other responsibilities include program planning, delegating projects, offering counsel to team members and allocating agency resources to match client budgets. VPs are also engaged with business development, strategic program planning and the development of creative concepts.


Responsibilities:

  • Proven track record of managing branded and unbranded campaigns with media and third-party partnerships.
  • Excited about managing talented junior staff members, building strong relationships with clients, and taking your career to the next level on a team that’s dynamic, creative, smart and fun
  • Serve as day-to-day client support and counsel and the lead of integration efforts with internal specialists including media, digital, creative, analytics and corporate, as well as agency partners


Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years related professional experience (5-6 years of which should be at a PR Agency)
  • Pharmaceutical and/or biotech drug development experience required
  • Experience working on business with influencer, social media and ideally corporate as key workstreams
  • FDA approval experience is also preferred
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent oral and written business communication skills
  • Strong financial management, forecasting, scoping experience
  • Exceptional judgment when working with team members and clients
  • Commitment and dedication to the agency's success
  • Can anticipate client and team needs with attention to detail and quality
  • Instills confidence with clients and colleagues
