VP, Operations

Remote (United States)

At Stitch Fix, we’re about personal styling for everybody and we believe in both a service and a workplace where you can be your best, most authentic self. We’re the first fashion retailer to combine technology and data science with the human instinct of a Stylist to deliver a deeply personalized shopping experience. This novel juxtaposition attracts a highly diverse group of talented people who are both thinkers and doers. All of this results in a simple, powerful offering to our customers and a successful, growing business serving millions of men, women, and kids. We believe we are only scratching the surface on our opportunity, and we’re looking for incredible people like you to help us carry on that trend.

The Vice President, Operations is a key leader who inspires, leads and develops our Operations organization and establishes the vision and mission of the team and function. In this role, you will lead all aspects of our Operations -- Warehouse Operations, Outbound Transportation, Inbound Shipping, Operations Process Improvement, Network Strategy, and Warehouse Support (Liquidation, Vendor Compliance, Packaging and Quality). These functions together are responsible for all the physical operations of the company and help bring the Stitch Fix experience to life for our clients. The core of the operation is the development, expansion and transformation of our 5 warehouses (5 in the US, 1 in the UK) and our ~3000 warehouse team members. The Vice President, Operations will partner extensively cross-functionally to accelerate operational innovation to drive and support the Stitch Fix strategic plan. This includes leading and implementing new business and inventory models, enabling new client experiences beyond the core fix offering, evaluating our warehouse operations/processes/systems for efficiency improvements (while still maintaining operational flexibility), and leveraging data science and organization structure -- all while establishing our operational and technical foundation as an organization. Key metrics and goals will include operational efficiency, P&L performance, client experience and employee engagement. In accomplishing all these goals, the Vice President, of Operations will build a mission-driven culture that leads the industry, especially in our warehouses. '
