What You'll Do

We are seeking a strategic and accomplished individual to join our product leadership team as the Vice President of Product Management, reporting to the CPO. This pivotal role will be responsible for shaping and executing our product strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives, and driving innovation in our product portfolio. The successful candidate will bring extensive leadership experience in product management and a proven track record of delivering successful products to market.


Responsibilities:

Strategic Product Leadership:

  • Develop and communicate a compelling and forward-thinking product strategy aligned with the company's overall vision and goals.
  • Drive the development and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring it reflects market needs, competitive insights, and emerging trends.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and high-quality products that enhance customer experience.


Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performance product management organization, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to product managers, fostering their professional growth and skill development.
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent within the product management function.


Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to end-of-life, ensuring products meet market demands and achieve business objectives.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for product planning, development, and launch processes.
  • Continuously monitor product performance, gather feedback, and drive improvements to meet evolving customer needs.


Market and Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats in the industry.
  • Stay informed about competitors' products and market positioning, providing strategic insights to inform product decisions.
  • Utilize data-driven analysis to make informed decisions regarding product features, enhancements, and market positioning.


Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership, engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to ensure product strategy aligns with overall business objectives.
  • Foster strong relationships with key internal and external partners to enhance product development and market presence.
  • Promote a culture of transparency, communication, and collaboration across departments.

 

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in product management, with a significant portion in leadership roles.
  • Proven success in developing and launching innovative products in technology or related industries.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a track record of making data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at the executive level.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performance product management teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
