VP, Integrated Performance Marketing

Tailored Brands, Inc. is currently seeking a Vice President of Integrated Marketing. The successful candidate will drive the customer acquisition and retention strategy and tactics for all divisions under Tailored Brands, Inc. including Men’s Wearhouse, Jos.A.Bank, K&G Superstore in the US, and Moores Clothing in Canada.

Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, Tailored Brands, the VP of Integrated Marketing will be responsible for a large and dynamic digital marketing and media operations team based in Fremont, California. With a keen focus on key business metrics including customer acquisition and retention, revenue, profit, store and online traffic, website conversion and store conversion, the VP of Integrated Marketing will lead the growth of our marketing channels with increasing efficiency and effectiveness and expand the customer’s positive experience with our Brands.

Scope of responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the vision, strategy, tactics and day-to-day management of our online and offline marketing channels focused on driving both in-store and online traffic and revenue:

  • Lead innovation and advancement of the overall integrated marketing agenda through the development and execution of a multi-year roadmap
  • Leverage a strong retail background and instill a retail calendar based approach to planning while ensuring omni-channel optimization of our marketing spend
  • Relaunch our Loyalty programs to drive improved revenue and margin performance while better engaging our customers through long term relationships.
  • Leverage CRM data and performance analytics to accelerate improvements in overall marketing efficiency and customer acquisition
  • Work with the larger marketing team supporting the execution of omni-channel programs targeted to specific consumer segments and based on individual customer behaviors
  • Develop a digital CRM strategy and test and learn tactics to drive ongoing channel efficiencies and improved revenue performance in addition to further informing consumer lifecycle messaging tactics
  • Partner with the larger organization (specifically senior business leaders across the company) to understand their business objectives and be seen as THE subject matter expert on Performance Marketing within the company
  • Actively partner and collaborate with cross-functional Brand Marketing and Ecommerce teams to ensure a consistent message and focus across all consumer touch points
  • Scale the capabilities of the entire marketing organization with the management of all marketing related technologies including Personalization and Loyalty platforms, Email and SMS marketing platforms, Digital Asset Management, Production and Workflow tools, and overall Marketing Systems support to meet the growing and changing demands of the Tailored Brands marketing organization.
  • Build, develop and retain a world-class Integrated Marketing team by optimizing the organizational structure (including defining the appropriate set of 3rd party partner relationships), creating learning and development opportunities that drive engagement and career growth and recognizing talent and great performance.

Performance Measures

  • Increased YoY traffic to our offline Stores as well as our eCommerce properties
  • Increased YoY revenue growth and profit for both eCommerce and Store channels
  • Incremental new-to-file customers (both eCommerce and Store)
  • Specifically, continue to age-down our customer by targeting increasingly important younger customer segments
  • Delivery against program and channel ROAS and LTV targets that ladder up to improving channel effectiveness
  • 360-degree feedback from internal teammates; external customer feedback 

Experience Requirements:

  • 15+ years of marketing experience with at least 8-10 years digital experience with integrated media and marketing platforms that include both digital and traditional marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience with implementing performance marketing initiatives that will scale to support the requirements of a growing organization with multiple brands.
  • Expertise in retail; ideally at a large, complex multi-channel retailer with multiple brands.
  • Deep understanding of the digital environment and evolving tools and platforms used to improve online presence. Able to translate trends into brand right business opportunities. 
  • Strong leadership and consensus building skills, with willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development.
  • Prior experience leading and developing a team of professionals, as well as working across indirect reports and cross-functional partners.
  • Able to interact with all levels of the organization; must be able to articulate a vision and develop and deliver supporting marketing plans.
  • Strong relationship builder both within the organization and with external partners.
  • Agile Mindset – while experience leading integrated marketing at a large, multi-brand, highly collaborative corporation is needed, a small company mentality (e.g., test quickly, fail quickly, fix quickly) is needed to make ambitious progress in a dynamic field where innovation and speed are necessary.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and change. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing / MBA strongly preferred.
