VP, HR Consultant

Raleigh, NC

This role will support leadership on M&A activities from due diligence through integration and other HR consulting duties as assigned. 


​Duties: 

  • M&A total rewards project lead 
  • Responsible for due diligence work in HR alongside HR and legal partners to include research and review of potential acquired company’s plan documents, internal policies and procedures, and handbooks/employee communications 
  • Identify change management needs and determine best timeline of integration between the acquired company and ICF HR programs; balance risk of losing key employees vs. unnecessary cost of duplicate programs 
  • Draft communications to acquired employees related to welcome packets, special agreements, orientation decks, etc. and work with corporate communications and the HRBP team in managing delivery 
  • Partner with ICF HR technology team to integrate acquired employees into the ICF system which enables all other processes upon deal close 
  • Collaborate with benefits team on integration needs with enrollment tools/systems, employee education meetings, office hours, and vendor management for any special requirements 
  • Educate new leadership on career path and job levels; assist leaders in mapping all employees into ICF jobs and business titles 
  • Continuously improve M&A tools and project plans with lessons learned after each deal is completed 
  • HR Project work as assigned 


Basic Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 10+ years’ of human resources experience 
  • Experience in due diligence and integration efforts  


Preferred Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities 
  • Must possess high attention to detail

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.


The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is: $149,755.00 - $254,584.00
