VP, Growth Strategies

As the Vice President of Growth Strategies, you will be responsible for developing fully integrated marketing strategies to drive growth for the entire company. You will help drive all branding, prospecting, consideration, and retention objectives for SBM. Bringing deep expertise in Lead Generation, you will also be responsible for partnering with Business Development Managers, Marketing, and subject matter experts to provide critical thinking and thought leadership to ensure we provide the best option to future customers


This role reports directly to our SVP, Global Account Management


The position can be located in St Louis, MO, or Phoenix, AZ.


What you can expect to do daily

Define lead generation strategy

  • Develop and execute demand generation strategies and campaigns that deliver highly qualified marketing leads to Sales and nurture our existing database of prospects
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing automation system to nurture leads better, increase conversion rates to marketing qualified leads, and improve the integrity of the overall database
  • Maintain continuous knowledge and status on all campaigns delivered, quickly resolve obstacles when occurring, and make accurate time decisions
  • Attend sales meetings to discuss and produce reports on lead generation activity performance
  • Strategize on how to leverage exciting clients to grow organically and to penetrate similar verticals 
  • Manage and or assist in other related business growth opportunities as assigned


Measurement & Reporting

  • Improve operational processes and reporting related to demand generation programs to measure effectiveness, performance, and ROI of marketing spend
  • Manage budget and KPI forecasts, and develop a performance dashboard to show how strategies have delivered against objectives
  • Analyze campaign outcomes in detail, drawing insights and presenting results clearly to facilitate sound decision making and next steps


Team Leadership

  • Manage and develop a team of digital and lead generation campaign experts
  • Work as a leader and trusted partner across the various cross-functional teams, such as Brand, Website, Data, Sales, Product Marketing, Content, Customer Marketing


What you bring

  • +10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience developing entire marketing growth strategies to achieve both brand and business goals
  • Demonstrated analytical ability, specifically around program measurement and ROI, and program execution skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent team management and leadership skills
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with widespread marketing automation and sales automation systems, particularly Salesforce
  • Be hands-on in executing programs, including getting deep into data analysis while balancing multiple priorities and projects
  • Turn empirical data into insightful, strategic decisions and actionable plans
