VP, Global Travel & Expense Management

The scope of services within Disney Worldwide Shared Services includes:

  • Payroll (Domestic and International)

  • Corporate Global Travel
  • Travel & Expense Management (Domestic and International)
  • Records Information Management
  • Shared Services support for APAC, EMEA, and LATAM Regional Centers

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Oversee global provision of company-wide employee / cast member travel operations for Disney businesses, including the re-design of in-source, co-source and out-source operational models to ensure cost effective, efficient operations.
  • Oversee multi-site travel operations teams, currently comprised of more than 40 personnel multiple US locations and oversight of all global TMC’s in multiple international regional locations.
  • Provide strategic direction to and ongoing management of commercial and charter airlines, hotels, and transportation vendor contracts.
  • Provide strategic direction to and ongoing management of technology enabled travel solutions. 
  • Drive consistent year on year cost reduction initiatives.
  • Actively nurture executive and cast member relationships and demonstrate excellence in client service.
  • Develop and actively oversee cast member professional and career development efforts.
  • Oversee governance and enforcement of Company travel policy compliance and related reporting efforts.
  • Manage global Citibank and AMEX card relationships to monitor performance, ensure SLA and contract compliance and resolve operational issues as they arise.
  • Responsible for the global Group & Event strategy, policy and technology
  • Responsible for global business travel contract negotiation and relationship mgmt. for all lines of travel
  • Responsible for the overall Concur business relationship including contract management and oversight of the internal audit process.
  • Oversees C-Suite level and Companywide Sr. Executive engagement and support.


Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s in business


Preferred Education

  • MBA strongly Preferred


Experience/Skills/Training 

  • 20+ years’ experience in Fortune 100 size enterprises leading organizations of significant scale. Travel industry expertise is essential.
  • Travel industry expert and working knowledge of airline / hotel reservation, commercial card programs, industry regulations, and related systems.

  • 20+ years’ experience in Fortune 50 enterprises
