We currently have an exciting opportunity for GM, Ecommerce to join our Digital team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ecommerce leader who is looking to drive an ecommerce business with P&L responsibility, focusing on strategy, site experience, marketing, and merchandise.  


What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute vision and strategy for eCommerce channel that encompasses merchandise, marketing and the user/site experience.
  • Drive all demand planning/sales forecasting and manage ongoing business performance - revenue and budget (P/L Responsibilities)
  • Lead and develop a team of direct reports who buy for the ecommerce business, optimize site merchandising, and site operations.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and core Merchandising teams respectively to develop and deploy comprehensive, multi-channel marketing and promotional plans that are designed to drive traffic, engagement and revenues.
  • Deliver insights to and collaborate with the Merchandising teams to develop and deploy a unique assortment strategy that is optimized for the online shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to develop and constantly innovate on the product/user experience, with an eye on finding and leveraging new technologies to surprise and delight our consumers.
  • Optimize the performance of the website and its ability to generate sales and related transactions via non-stop testing and learning.
  • Work cross functionally to optimize the post purchase customer experience in terms of fulfillment, returns, etc. and to manage profitability of the business.
  • Ensure the day-to-day effectiveness of site merchandising, navigation, search functionality and product presentation maximizes customer experience.
  • Provide ongoing tracking and analysis of customer on-site behavior through market and competitive analysis and review and measurement of site analytics.
  • Establish this brand as a true omni channel retailer by blurring the lines between our website and the in-store environment with in-store traffic driving initiatives online and valuable in-store activations.


Skills & Experience

  • +15 years business experience.
  • Deep e-commerce experience (multi-channel retail a strong plus).
  • Experience managing marketing, product, and merchandising functions.
  • Experience managing teams of 20 or more.
  • BA degree (MBA a plus).
  • An experienced General Manager and E-Commerce leader with a proven track of driving sales and engagement by striking a perfect mix of creative and inspiring content, merchandising, and customer experience
  • A data and insights driven executive who is very comfortable operating with an agile, test, learn, iterate approach.
  • A strategic thinker who has a proven history of developing ambitious, but very actionable strategies resulting in successful execution.
  • A team player who works well with and through team members and knows how to build strong cross functional relationships grounded in deep levels of trust and respect
  • A highly effective operator who has a passion for driving operational efficiency across every aspect of the business.
  • A creative and innovative product leader who obsesses over the user experience and whose thirst for improvement never ends.
  • A strong leader and people manager with a track record of building and scaling high performance teams.
  • A highly effective communicator, who is able to connect with team members at every level of the company.
