We are looking for a multifaceted communications leader with a strong understanding of the media ecosystems across the US, Canada, and LATAM! A leader that is proficient with handling comprehensive communications strategies and tactics across various countries. In addition, an awareness of the nuances among cultures and demographics is important.


This person will craft and tell the story of Tinder as a product and brand! This role will be responsible for communications oversight across the Americas and report to the SVP, Head of Global Communications. They will lead a team of communications experts and agencies. We’re looking for an outstanding leader, with a pragmatic approach, who is able to bring simple solutions to sophisticated problems.


You are:

  • A team leader, a true people manager that will dedicate time to strengthen the team members hard and soft skills
  • Excellent at day to day operational management, leading communication at a regional level and work with different partners at the same time
  • Able to lead and support corporate topics and programs, from narrative to speaking opportunities placements
  • Supporting consumer narratives using zeitgeists moments and consumer insights
  • Understand product communications, having launched or managed many tech products
  • A hands-on leader with a strong network of relationships with journalists across many verticals
  • Able to strategize and implement communications campaigns, build and scale ambitious approaches
  • Experience partnering with executives to make strategic and influential presentations to leadership
  • Track record as a company spokesperson
  • Exposure to or experience managing projects in conjunction with Government Relations teams
  • Successful track record leading a sophisticated list of partners across a brand and a parent company
  • An entrepreneurial approach to oversee a budget and work hand in hand with Finance partners


You Have:

  • 15 + years of experience in media, in a corporate or agency setting
  • A high degree of executive credibility, preferably within the technology, e-commerce, and media space
  • A proven track record developing and encouraging a team of dedicated professionals
  • A quick learner with an analytical mind, able to exert strategic vision while building consensus through a consultative working style
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a track record of leading change and team building experiences
  • A strong bias-to-action, adept and agile on changing course and getting things done on short timeframes
  • A positive can-do attitude and low-ego

The salary range for this position is $240,000 - $300,000 Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in California. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
