VP, Analyst Relations

The VP of Analyst Relations will lead a talented team and our analyst engagement across the fast-growing customer and human experience solution areas. SAP’s offerings in these markets include SuccessFactors for employee experience management, and a portfolio of customer experience solutions for Commerce, Marketing, Sales, Service, and Customer Data management. Industry analysts, among firms including Gartner, Forrester, IDC and more, have taken notice of SAP’s tremendous opportunities for growth in these markets. This analyst community wants to learn more and to provide valuable and constructive inputs to SAP related to our strategies in these critical markets for the company.  

 

 Key responsibilities

  • Manage and foster a team environment of shared ownership and collaboration.
  • Strategically engage with analysts to bring insights to inform and influence SAP strategies and foster mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Successfully manage key evaluative research instruments such as Gartner Magic Quadrants and Forrester Waves, as well as other analyst reports, blogs and social content.
  • Understand SAP’s competitive differentiators and how to best leverage them across analysts’ research portfolios. 

 

Requirements

  • 10+ years successfully leading a strategic product portfolio or broad scale transformation work.
  • 10+ years in a leadership role including working with senior executives.
  • Excellent communications and writing skills.
  • Passion for building and maintaining relationships.
  • A passion for championing the voice of the analysts and being a source of business neutrality.
  • Creative thinking to develop innovative solutions for day to day obstacles and opportunities.
  • Ability to influence & lead cross functional teams with an emphasis on being a relationship builder; works well across functions and at all levels of an organization.
