Video Production and Animation Specialist
Jabil is looking for an energetic and creative Video Production and Animation Specialist to join our Global Communications and Brand Strategy Team. You will be responsible for in and out of studio videography and photography as well as video and motion graphic production, from pre-production planning through post-production editing in a fast paced, deadline driven, team-oriented environment. You will work on a variety of projects ranging from Promotional and Cultural Videos, Thought Leadership Videos, Strategy & Business Initiative Updates, Podcasts, Motion Graphics, Short Documentary Films, Case Studies and more. The successful candidate for this position is flexible, creative and versatile, with a natural curiosity to learn more about Jabil’s business, culture and mission and must have a strong work ethic and focused attention to detail. You must be available to travel occasionally and capture video footage and photography at one of our 100+ global locations. You must have excellent communication skills and passion for storytelling in support Jabil’s brand, while producing high quality work and ensuring that Jabil stays on the cutting edge of multimedia trends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports pre-production, production and post-production
- Supports projects and activities with interviews and b-roll
- Makes technical decisions regarding lighting, shooting angle and composition
- Supports photography needs
- Creates captivating motion graphics and incorporates motion graphic treatments into videos
- Works closely with design team to obtain storyboards and graphic assets for videos
- Collaborates on script creation, storyboarding and choosing the best tactics for content delivery
- Maintains brand consistency
- Interviews subjects, as needed
- Works closely with the entire Communications and Brand Strategy team to offer creative solutions for each project
- Manages multiple video and motion graphic projects simultaneously to ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Catalogues and organizes footage and media libraries
- Subtitles international video content and posts to distribution channels
- Defines project tasks and resource requirements
- Implements and manages project changes to achieve project goals and customer satisfaction
- Organizes and compiles process and task documentation within a project management platform
- Complies and follows all procedures within the company security policy
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Qualifications (Knowledge Requirements)
- High level of understanding and experience in the elements of video production, such as lighting, audio, composition and cinematography is required
- Experience creating explainer, motion graphic animated videos is required
- Experiences in event and portrait photography
- Knowledge of non-linear editing, animation and audio edit/post software
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
- Knowledge of cameras, lenses, stabilizers, lights and grip/electric equipment
- Familiarity with green screen keying and removal
- Familiarity with PC and Mac systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of project management flow within a production environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong listening, creative thinking and execution skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, adapt to change and prioritize responsibilities
- Knowledge of graphic design principles; graphic design experience a plus
Education & Experience Requirements
3-5 Years of experience in video production and motion graphics animation.
Bachelor’s degree in multimedia, communications, public relations, marketing or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
