About the Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for Video Editor to join our Creative Marketing team. This individual will be working with a passionate team of art directors, producers, cinematographers, graphic designers, and other editors to collaborate, edit and deliver original video content for Tailored Brands and its external audience 


What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

  • Assist in developing compelling video content with a focus on digital marketing channels
  • Work with the Creative Director, Art Directors, Copywriters, and Marketing Partners to develop video products and concepts that meet our brand goals, values, and tone
  • Develop reusable templates, textures, titles, and subtle motion graphics to streamline workflow
  • Stay knowledgeable about all current social trends, meme culture and video practices that resonate with our target markets
  • Maintain an organized library of content and assets with a high level of detail
  • Edit a wide range of content across a variety of camera formats and distribution platforms
  • Owning the edit of any project from start to finish (with supervision from Art Director)


Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, media, visual art, film, television, multimedia or graphic design or equivalent experience 
  • Minimum 3-5 years of creative or mastering editorial work in a post production facility delivering daily technically accurate content with creative revisions maintained
  • Proven professional experience within Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Davinci Resolve
  • Experience and a thorough understanding of technical video information such as codecs, frame rate, resolution/compression, proxy & offline workflows
  • Experience in editing for commercial, documentary, social, events
  • Generate compositing, screen replacement, picture clean up, rotoscope, tracking (preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of review and approval process using software such as frame.io (or other project management tools)
  • Excellent attention to detail with well-honed organizational and time-management skills; self-motivated and comfortable working in a high-demand, fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of Apple MacOS operating systems


Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
