Video Content Producer

Philadelphia, PA

Jefferson Health is our Academic Clinical Research Center partner for our vertically integrated operations in Pennsylvania. 

The Video Content Producer at Ethos is responsible for reviewing marketing strategies to determine which strategies are effective in attracting new customers or increasing sales, creating and posting original content, such as articles, videos, podcasts, and infographics and developing original concepts for content that will appeal to specific target audiences while adhering to the company's business model and maintaining a strong ethical and customer service-oriented culture.


  • Edit videos using industry-standard software to enhance visual appeal, sound quality, and overall production value to support communication goals.
  • Developing and executing content to enhance the company's brand image and generate demand.
  • Ability to understand the topics that generate high levels excitement and interest amongst the communities Ethos caters to
  • Write, publish and distribute both original and syndicated stories across 6 websites and multiple social platforms, focusing on owned and operated properties like web/app/social, working closely with Content Producers
  • Coordinate with marketing team to ensure cross promotion of content across all platforms ensuring smooth production workflows.
  • Owning the entire video production process from pre-production to post-production.
  • Working through requests in a timely and effective manner
  • Write in a style that is appealing for a specific audience. knowledge of the industry landscape required Planning and driving effective messaging across multiple target audiences.
  • Liaise with digital marketing team to Implement SEO best practices for video content to maximize reach and engagement. Including monitoring video analytics and performance metrics to inform future content strategies.
  • Create video for in store digital ads and promotions via in store displays/monitors


  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere; experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and industry video production standards
  • experience creating and editing videos in an array of styles ranging from video podcasts, educational direct-to-camera, explainers, and short documentaries
  • Must have excellent writing skills and the ability to tell engaging stories 
  • Strong self-editing skills with attention to detail in grammar, punctuation, and design layout
  • Understanding of cannabis legal and editorial guidelines
  • Experience with social media best practices
  • Strong project management skills attention to detail, including the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously in an environment with frequent interruptions 
  • Capable of quick turnarounds, with multiple projects at any given moment
  • Effective communicator and team player who understands and can collaborate with entire marketing team 
  • Experience communicating and coordinating with C-level executives and business leaders
  • Technical knowledge of film production processes and techniques, including cameras, lighting, and audio; you are just as comfortable shooting solo as you are directing a small crew on set
  • Travel required to various Ethos and non-Ethos sites
  • Agency and budget management.
  • Owning photo/video equipment a plus


Education: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, filmmaking, journalism, communications or a relevant discipline is preferred.

Work Experience: 2+ years in marketing, video content creation, editing, filmmaking.

  • Proficiency in department related software such as Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn,, Hubspot, Salesforce, AlpineIQ, DOMO, Brandwatch, and Google Drives.
  • Ability to develop, analyze, and interpret key performance metrics.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work remotely with quarterly travel.
  • Comfort with extended periods of sitting, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Must pass stringent background test requirements.


This position is classified as Exempt and is not eligible for overtime pay.
