About you

Do you have a passion for commercial real estate and a strong desire to work directly with senior leaders in the daily operation of a team’s business? Our Occupier Services team is looking for someone who is motivated by the drive to expand their knowledge in all aspects of commercial real estate.


These aspects could include, but not be limited to, providing ongoing management of real estate transaction activities for a complex or high-profile portfolio of properties on behalf of our corporate clients.


Preparing, recommending, and implementing portfolio-wide transaction strategies for acquiring and disposing of real estate properties. Coordinating field resources and other stakeholders in the execution of lease renewals, new site acquisitions, disposition of surplus space through subleasing, sales, downsizing renewals, early lease termination, and more.


This role is perfect for someone who is eager to coordinate multiple transactions, own the process, flex their creative muscle with marketing support and help maintain effective client relations to help build business for the team!


In this role, you will…

  • Implement real estate plans with an understanding of the client's strategic real estate goals. Assist with project initiation and scope definition, prioritization of assignments, and adherence to client-driven priorities, commitments, and milestones.
  • Act as a tenant/buyer agent and effectively negotiate the business terms and conditions for a wide variety of commercial real estate products, including land, office, retail and industrial.
  • Coordinate field broker selection and other required resources, subject matter experts, and business partners. If necessary, facilitate client review and approval of proposed team resources for the purpose of transaction execution.
  • Draft and create a variety of analyses and relevant documents, including but not limited to project initiation, market comparable reports, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), proposal comparison packages, letters of intent, and broker's opinions of value.
  • Coordinate the negotiation of sales through a field broker. Negotiate leases and lease amendments. Monitor lease expirations. Negotiate lease renewals within prescribed timeline. Locate and acquire new properties to meet client's requirements and timeline. Dispose of surplus properties within prescribed timeline.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret financial analysis templates including book and cash flow projections, NPV (net present value), and/or IRR (internal rate of return) financial analyses to enable clients to make more informed decisions.
  • Closely track all transaction activity (commissionable and non-commissionable), prepare commission forecasts and vouchers, and account for all savings results achieved on behalf of clients.
  • Monitor and maintain a real estate project tracking system to ensure timely transaction completion. Prepare reports and make presentations to relevant parties.


What you’ll bring…

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years commercial real estate transaction experience, applicable industry tenure or similar combination of education and experience.
  • Active real estate license (otherwise must be obtained within first 6 months of employment).
  • Advanced computer software application (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and Internet navigational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective and persuasive presentation ability on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.
  • Strong communication, organizational, time management, proof reading and multi-tasking skills.


Approximate Salary Range for this Role: $146,500 USD - $175,000 USD.


Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive 10 days of sick leave and a minimum of 15-days' vacation annually. Certain senior-level roles are eligible for unlimited time off. Employees will also enjoy 10 paid holidays plus two personal flex days throughout the calendar year. 12 weeks (for birth parents) and 4 weeks (for non-birth parents, including adoptive/foster parents) for paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of 90 days of employment.
