Vice President Operations

VP, Operations is responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple Benedictine communities in Minnesota and at least one-two surrounding mid-west states.. They are accountable for operating outcomes of assigned owned and ministry partner communities to ensure regulatory compliance, profitability, achievement of organizational goals, quality metrics, satisfaction, and assure the mission and values of Benedictine are maintained.


  • Accountable for the day-to day operational oversight of assigned Benedictine communities to ensure the highest possible positive outcome for the residents which align with the mission and values of Benedictine.
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of budgets for each community to ensure the achievement of profitability goals for assigned communities
  • Serve as a liaison between other Support Center departments to assure appropriate implementation of quality principles and standards at each community.
  • Serve as a Benedictine liaison and board member to the assigned community Board of Directors.
  • Manage the selection, training, leadership development and performance of assigned Executive Directors and Housing Leaders to retain a professional, motivated workforce for Benedictine.
  • Promote Benedictine’s Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing these values to life in the workplace



  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
  • Ten (10) years of experience as a Health Services Executive (HSE), Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA), or experience and Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD-MN) or progressive management experience in a related health care field; or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
  • Currently licensed, or eligible to be licensed within 6 months in at least 1 of the states with direct oversight.
