Vice President of Sales

Eurofins is searching for a Vice President of Sales responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing sales strategy and achieving sales targets for Built Environment Testing at the national level. Specific responsibilities include business and market development; market research and planning; initiating and executing high-growth strategic sales plan and hiring and directing the activities of sales staff. Position is full-time salaried based. The role will be Hybrid and stationed at any of our Built Environmental Labs. 


Vice President of Sales responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Direct, oversee, assess, and monitor the capabilities and competencies of the Regional Sales Managers and National Sales Team, identifying development needs and opportunities for improvement and advancement
  • Identify and advise leadership on emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges and strategies for addressing
  • Create annual budget projections for sales growth and marketing costs; monitor and report performance against budget to executive leadership team
  • In collaboration with Built Environment Testing leadership, create annual Sales Compensation Plan
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to a variety of audiences including key clients, senior executives, and strategic partners
  • Monitor and report regional sales performance, key performance indicators (KPIs) course correcting when needed
  • Responsible for sales training and development plans for sales organization
  • Oversee and be responsible for National Accounts Program for Built Environment Testing. This includes, targeting, selling, negotiating, implementation and driving KPIs per MSA.
  • Develop and implement, in conjunction with laboratory leadership, integrated marketing and communications strategies for regional positioning
  • Responsible for CRM implementation and dashboards for sales organization
  • Coordinate marketing communications, advertising, white papers, trade show activities, seminars, event collateral materials, and website design and content
  • Provide technical and quality teams with current industry and product /market trends and customer research, and competitive analysis; go to market coordination of product launch including client communication; sales product and offering training; and general sales support
  • Partner with other executives to identify and develop strategic alliances, conduct due diligence on
  • Potential acquisition targets, and close/grow major client accounts.

  • Expert knowledge of strategic sales and best practices
  • Superior knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation
  • Strong general business acumen
  • Superior communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to executives and a variety of audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Highly developed critical thinking/analysis skills
  • Ability to prepare and deliver concise, compelling presentations to senior decision-makers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently
  • Ability to lead, develop, and engage a team


Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a Life Science or related field
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in developing and executing sales and market growth strategies
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing professional staff
