Vice President of Corporate Reputation

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader as the Vice President of Corporate Reputation at Intel. This role requires the highest caliber executive leadership, coaching and collaboration skills to work across our complex ecosystem in support of our corporate reputation.


The VP of Corporate Reputation will be responsible for driving Intel’s most strategic narratives aligned Intel’s business goals and ongoing transformation.


This leader will manage a team of professionals supporting corporate strategy and positioning, financial and policy communication, manufacturing and Intel Foundry Services communications, sustainability, and all aspects of global crisis mitigation.


This leader will also direct Executive Communication including all programming for key members of the Intel executive leadership team and most importantly, the office of the CEO.


This role is global in scope with responsibility for architecting programming that supports and aligns with all regions of the company including EMEA, APJ, LATAM and PRC.


This role reports to the Chief Communications Officer and, in partnership with the rest of the Global Communications leadership team, ensures that we are delivering holistic communications programs that engage and activate corporate, employee and technology audiences. 


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive corporate reputation strategies that align with Intel's business objectives and values.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to CEO and senior executives, providing strategic counsel on communication matters.
  • Design CEO and C-Suite strategic and integrated communication programming, and oversee executive platform development, speechwriting, and content creation across all stakeholder audiences and channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and other external stakeholders to enhance Intel's brand visibility and thought leadership.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and public sentiment to proactively identify communication opportunities and risks.
  • Help to steer Intel's corporate social responsibility initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's values and fostering positive social impact.
  • Direct a team of communication professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Break down silos, ensuring we demonstrate fully integrated comms in everything we do and helping bring others along, in our own Communications group and cross-functionally with various departments -– with strong communications and influence skills.


Qualifications

  • High potential, structured leader with 15+ years of experience creating and implementing successful reputation management strategies within a complex and heavily matrixed corporate environment.
  • Proven track record of success in a Fortune 100 company leading corporate communications, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Demonstrated experience within each corporate reputation area of responsibility, e.g. corporate strategy and positioning, financial and policy communication, sustainability, and all aspects of global crisis mitigation.
  • Experience in tracking and measuring communications campaigns and corporate initiatives that drives real-time adjustments to active plans as needed.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing high-performing teams, bringing forward an inspiring, yet structured approach to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Track record of setting strategic direction to accomplish immediate and long-range objectives that address business issues and build trust across all stakeholder groups.
  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills, with the ability to drive and implement communication strategies that align with and support business goals.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.


Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in business, communications, journalism, or a related field.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $999.00-$999,999.00


Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. 


In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
