Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Vice President of Innovation Integration to join our Global Digital team. Who You Are

As VP of Innovation Integration, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our growth strategy for Hyatt. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities in two core areas of growth: first to leverage Hyatt’s industry leading growth in the pipeline, as we acquire new properties, successfully onboarding them into our enterprise systems. Second, you will also be on point to define our AI technologies across our Digital Properties to improve operational efficiency, enhance guest experiences, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business strategy and or AI and a proven track record of successfully implementing AI solutions in a business environment.

Responsibilities Include: 

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with the business goals of Hyatt Commercial Services. 
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI to enhance guest satisfaction, streamline operations, and drive revenue growth.


Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, and operations to identify use cases and gather requirements.
  • Work closely with senior management to align Commercial Services AI initiatives with overall enterprise objectives and guidelines.


Vendor Management:

  • Evaluate and select external vendors and partners.
  • Manage relationships with technology providers and oversee the implementation of solutions.


Project Management:

  • Lead and oversee the execution of projects from conception to deployment.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed performance expectations.


Data Governance:

  • Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies.
  • Collaborate with the data team to ensure data quality and availability for AI projects.


Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of initiatives.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize AI models to improve performance and accuracy in collaboration with our Data Science team.


Given the high exposure to a sizable team and many collaborators across the business, the role requires the candidate to bring outstanding relationship management talent, communication, program creation/management, and multi-functional coordination skills.

The ideal candidate should have a solid track record of running sophisticated operations and fostering positive team dynamics. SVPs of Digital and Loyalty and the team would fully support the candidate in this role, recognizing their ability to own and excel in all these aspects with ease.


Experience Required:  

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, AI).
  • Proven experience (10 years) in a leadership role overseeing digital projects.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, and natural language processing.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid track record of fostering positive team dynamics and building collaborative work environments.
  • Exceptional relationship management talent, communication, program creation/management, and multi-functional coordination skills.
  • Effective in high-exposure roles with sizable teams and cross-functional collaborators.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance technical expertise with a keen understanding of business objectives.


Additional Experience Highly Regarded:  

  • Master’s in business administration
  • Hospitality industry experience
