The Vice President Digital will plan, develop, lead and execute global strategies for various digital initiatives and priorities.
Essential Responsibilities
- Create differentiation through new digital experiences and products that ultimately drive revenue growth and improvement in core customer experience. This includes global experiences across all customer segments including fedex.com and all digital interactions on the platform – account sign up, shipping, visibility (tracking), scheduling pickups, managing claims, digital invoicing, etc. Success measured by ease of use, lowering costs by increasing self service capabilities, account growth and new revenue streams.
- Manage a global team. Build, lead and inspire a matrixed, highly effective digital organization in a fast-paced, dynamic and intensely competitive industry. Drive high level of ownership/ accountability and productivity to deliver stellar business results.
- Responsible for customer driven design including digital experience design and end to end experience design.
- Responsible for the commercialization of data and digital platforms including monetizing data opportunities and launching the new fdx platform.
- Manage customer research/insights including measurement of customer experience architecture (e.g. global Net Promotor Score - NPS).
- Understand the changing customer needs and deliver a frictionless experience for internal and external customers.
- Leverage relationships throughout the enterprise and influence up and down the organization around new digital strategy needed for commercial growth.
- May assume additional areas of responsibility as needed.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent
Minimum Experience
Ten (10) years related digital product or go-to-market experience including demonstrated successful management experience. More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related Master’s degree equals two (2) years experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Sound business judgment and the ability to develop strategies and interpret market research. Strong business partner interface skills, proven leadership and results, excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
