Vice President

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, NY. Design, build and maintain solutions to integrate Business Intelligence (BI) tools into GS infrastructure. Build out self-service tooling for non-Engineers/business users to work with BI tools providing solutions based on modern web technologies utilizing: JAVA, IOC frameworks, NoSQL DB, Angular.js/ and React.js/. Implement solutions for entitlement management and provisioning automation. Provide integration to align BI tools to GS Data Engineering strategy. Engage with stakeholders from other business areas to define and drive BI strategy.

 

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related quantitative Engineering degree such as Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering. Minimum five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include five (5) years of experience with: Java development; working with SQL programming language; performing requirements gathering, design, design reviews, coding, code reviews, unit testing and integration testing; and experience working with Spring or Guice framework. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience with: Working with design patterns; JUnit, version control tools (including Git, Bitbucket or SVN) and at least one continuous integration and deployment tool; JavaScript, JQuery, node.js and React.js or Angular.js; JAXRS and RESTful web services development; and Databases: MongoDB, SQL Server or PostgreSQL. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience with: Working with Micro Services, building Single Page Applications and upgrading monolithic applications to Micro Service Architecture; and working with Docker and Amazon AWS.
