Vice President

Job Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Salt Lake City, Utah. Responsible for a team of product developers/managers and trainers, who are responsible for developing new products and processes and enhancing existing products and processes to deliver digital banking services and grow the business. Partner with business management, sales and service teams, technology, operations and various firmwide control groups (like compliance and legal) to design, develop, deploy, and manage new products and new processes for the business, which offers both secured lending and deposit-taking products packaged together in a high-tech digital platform. Manage product sub-team to deliver a development pipeline that meets the needs of a variety of audiences, including end clients (generally high-net worth individuals and their trusts/entities), 3rd party financial advisors and the financial advisory firms they work for, sales and service team, regulators, and internal control parties. Manage a training sub-team that ensures processes and policies are documented and all relevant parties (internal and external) are trained. Focus on establishing and maintaining priorities, allocating and managing resources to ensure key priorities are met, ensuring consistency and quality in the deliverables, and managing the relationship with key groups (especially sales, technology, and compliance). 


Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Management, or related field. Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include five (5) years in the following: building and delivering financial products in a technology-focused environment; working in an Agile development environment and developing engineering code for financial products; creating user stories, acceptance criteria, design documentation, process flows and wireframes, including the use of Jira, Confluence, and other content management tools; working with and building consensus across people at various levels of seniority within an organization to lead and deliver the team’s objectives; working with teams on projects and day-to-day operations while maintaining a high degree of personal accountability for the results delivered; and working with banking and credit products to understand why and how the products are used. Occasional travel required for potential vendor or major client and prospect visits approx. 2-4 trips per year.
