What you'll be doing day to day

  • As a Human Resources Generalist, contributing to the HR operations and strategies at our Distribution / Customer Fulfillment Center, you will: 
  • Execute all HR operational tasks to deliver an excellent co-worker experience. 
  • Support the unit’s business ambitions by providing relevant HR strategies and goals. 
  • Support the recruitment and on-boarding process in collaboration with local and matrix People & Culture partners. 
  • Execute the delivery of learning & training, unless provided by the Market Area Learning Delivery Specialist. 
  • Secure engagement and retention by understanding the conditions of our co-workers. 
  • Implement health and wellbeing initiatives at the Distribution/ Customer Fulfillment Center. 
  • Ensure local employer communication is consistent, well perceived, and builds on the IKEA brand. 
  • Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is strong and embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

The salary pay range for this role is $76,173-110,451

  • Human Resources or related background experience. 
  • Experience developing people and organizations. 
  • Ability to develop virtual and other collaborative relationships. 
  • Ability to influence and inspire 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
