​​​​​​ The responsibilities for a Training Manager are:

  • Analyzes and determines training needs, administers plans, procedures, and programs to meet training needs and problems. Constructs training manuals and aids.
  • Manages or conducts special courses designed for training selected groups of organization employees.
  • Assigns and reviews office activities, circumvents and resolves problem areas, coordinates administrative workload leveling requirements, coordinates and performs project personnel administration activities, coordinates administrative functions and interfaces with clients, vendors, and the public.
  • Reviews and manages office invoices and budget.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Directs the work of others.


Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 8 years of training experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education


Preferred Qualifications

  • Nuclear power training experience on a nuclear commercial powerplant
  • Experience in managing an LMS
