Total Rewards Manager

We have an immediate opening for a talented and energetic Total Rewards Manager to join our People & Culture team at HEXO. This position reports to the VP, People & Culture.

In this role, you will be involved in the analysis, administration and maintenance of total rewards programs, with an emphasis on employee incentives and benefit programs. This position is responsible for working collaboratively with business leaders and the People & Culture team to drive business performance through Total Reward programs.

What you will do:

Provide leadership in the development and design of Total Rewards program.
Responsible for all compensation, benefits, recognition and reward functions and activities within HEXO.
Advises on and creates the overall total rewards approach and philosophy and establishes ongoing communication plan to ensure these are well understood within HEXO.
Accountable for job evaluation and salary surveys, establishes salary structures, develops salary budgets, and prepares policies and procedures to insure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation.
Responsible for collaborating on and establishing incentive, stock option and bonus plans, including design and administration.
Maintains a working knowledge of federal and state legislation influencing compensation and benefits.
Monitors and evaluates the company’s benefits programs including: insurance programs, retirement plans, sick leave, time off and vacation policies. Ensures programs are current with regard to trends, practices and costs.

What you need:

As the ideal candidate, you will have 5-10 years of relevant work experience. You have completed a university degree or college diploma, specializing in human resources, business administration or finance or you have related experience in total rewards.
You will love working in spreadsheets and have intermediate MS Excel skills, and a general level of proficiency with other MS Office applications.
