Responsibilities

We are looking for an analyst to support administration of the State Farm 401k Plan. Prior benefits administration experience helpful, and 401k plan experience desired. Needs to understand regulatory requirements regarding 401k Plans (Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, ERISA regulations). Candidate needs to demonstrate critical thinking skills, industry knowledge and vendor management skills. 

  • Develops, administers, maintains and interprets benefit, compensation, and/or financial programs, policies and procedures
  • Ensures compliance with applicable laws and fiduciary standards and practices in developing, administering, maintaining and interpreting programs, policies and procedures
  • Assesses market trends related to benefit and compensation strategies and practices and makes recommendations to support ongoing competitiveness and positively impact attraction and retention
  • Conducts research and analysis, influences collaboration, makes recommendations, coordinates and may lead projects and develops solutions
  • Interprets, creates, analyzes, communicates and presents reports and data supporting or influencing business decisions
  • Designs, validates, and supports new and existing tools, processes, programs, and policies
