In this role you will contribute to Starbucks success by driving the development of the time management solution in the payroll cloud. You will provide business requirements, lead and complete work stream deliverables, execute testing, and lead change management and training related to the deployment of time management capabilities in the new payroll cloud.

 

As a total pay operations analyst senior, you will…

  • Serve as business lead for the workstream responsible for designing the technical solution for the future state of time management. 
  • Serve as a business lead for UAT and QA of the solution. Execute and review business testing for all test phases, capture and document to-be business process and process changes, analysis, research and provide business requirements for future state.
  • Responsible for workstream deliverables: coordinating with PMO, process owners, and subject matter resources for project planning; work through dependencies and risks
  • Change Management/Training: Provide input into change management, and lead training and cross-functional activities for time management deployment.


We’d love to hear from people with:

  • Multi-state/Provincial full cycle payroll processing, including time entry to general ledger entry
  • Strong skills in payroll systems (specifically SAP), accounting systems (specifically, Oracle), Microsoft Suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, etc.), and other software which has an interface to SAP (Kronos, Authoria, etc.)
  • Foundational understanding of payroll including garnishments, bonus payments,special payments and payroll taxes for US and Canada  
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing 
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment 
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
  • Ability to convey complicated information in a logical manner
  • Training, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Business requirements documentation 5 years
  • Test script development and end-user testing 5 years 
  • End-user support and training 5 years

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

 

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
