TikTok Producer
The TikTok Producer is responsible for creating daily content around timely news, EW features, and app trends, appearing on camera and supporting the production of TikTok segments with other EW talent. This role will pitch and script video ideas, manage platform publishing, and track insights on the channel.
The TikTok Producer will be a team player who has excellent writing and communication skills as well as a great passion for entertainment and following the latest trends and creative opportunities on social media.
The TikTok Producer will work closely with the rest of the EW social team, helping to keep EW’s TikTok account engaging and consistently updated. Suggesting how TikTok content and activations can be repurposed across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and more is also a key part of this role. Successful candidates will be able to produce innovative, dynamic social content under tight deadlines.
This role will have an assigned shift with regular daily hours; however, coverage will sometimes require early morning, evening or weekend work as part of that ongoing assigned shift. The TikTok Producer must also be willing to work occasional off-hours and weekends as necessary to cover special projects and events.

Education:
Bachelors’ degree in Journalism or related field, or equivalent work experience
Experience:
2-5 years of video production experience, with at least 1 year in a digital role
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of entertainment, pop culture, and the EW brand
- An idea generator who can think of new, fresh social video ideas
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with SEO, Social Media, Photoshop, light video editing
