Who We’re Looking For

Toyota’s Digital & Corporate Experiences Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Tech Analyst supporting Corporate Communications. The candidate should have a passion for technology, people, continuous improvement, partnership, and operational excellence.


Reporting to the IT Manager, Corporate Communications, the person in this role will be to provide hands on technology support to for global communications systems projects across North America—with new requests coming from Europe, Latin America, and new regions to share systems and best practices.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Global Deployment: Support the global rollout of One Toyota Internal Communcation Platform (powered by Dynamic Signal/FirstUp). We currently have over 68,000 registered on a global communication platform to have “all the communication in one place” for mobile and desktop, and are continuing to support global requests.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration with Toyota Motor Europe IT Division and Toyota Latin America on critical initiatives and Kaizens in alignment with technology and business for successful delivery with highest levels of customer satisfaction and security. Lead collaboration with ITx platform teams to align on technology direction, priorities, impacts and risks for global opportunites beyond One Toyota Communications to share other platforms like Webcasting, and Digital Signage.
  • Integration and Technology Modernization: Coordinate the development and implementation of strategic projects to modernize, rearchitect, improve customer experience and retire legacy systems to modern cloud platforms, architecture, and technology
  • Work with others to support the One Toyota Communications platform, Social Media, Digital Signage, Webcasting, Media Operations, Toyota Experience Center
  • Cloud Configuration to support Social Media requests within the organization with multiple Social Accounts for Toyota and Lexus (e.g. Tiktok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc) leveraging the Sprinklr platform
  • Assist in re-engineering communication workflows and processes to improve efficiency and uphold accuracy.
  • Recommend and update documentation, training materials, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)s, with approval from Corporate Communications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges and provide timely and accurate response to Corporate Communications
  • Provide system analyst expertise and contribution to deliver technology projects in support of Corporate Communications
  • Possess proven ability to learn new technology quickly and share knowledge with others.
  • Strategic Roadmap: Refine a 3-to-5-year roadmap for systems and processes to modernize and improve customer experiences for critical communications tools.  Strategic planning of prioritization, resources, budget, and communications to sustain daily operations and support for key communications systems
  • Innovation: Research and recommend new ways of communicating within corporate environments to challenge the status quo, including, but not limited to proof of concepts in the Metaverse, AR/VR, 360 video, and virtual environments


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Hands-on technical work experience in technology related to Corporate Communications
  • Experience using written and verbal communication skills effectively with the ability to create and present concepts, influence, and persuade the business, and make recommendations to management
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently, and meet stringent deadlines
  • Experience working directly with a variety of technical and non-technical end users


What You May Bring

  • Automotive manufacturing/industry experience
  • Hands-on experience with mobile app deployment, in such areas as Social Media, Webcasting, Digital Signage
  • Experience with tools related to virtual environments, such as Metaverse, AR/VR, 360 video

This position is based in Plano, TX. Toyota encourages all employees to live within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned work location.
