NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Will bring together technology and process expertise to deliver one-stop solutions that enable digital products and services in Beaverton, OR. Will be responsible for creating, developing and deploying seamless, tailored and inherently social experiences to digital consumers.


Will define, design and develop features to motivate, guide and delight users. Will be an advocate of new technology and development techniques. Will rely on experience with mobile development and will work in a reciprocal agile environment. Will utilize software engineering fundamentals and engage in continuous learning and partnership. Will work on a large team of developers with dedicated product, design and quality partner teams. Will lead other engineers on significant features, with responsibility for defining and estimating engineering tasks, directing the efforts of others, mentoring junior developers and reporting progress to business partners. Will develop native Android applications.


Will design mobile applications to consume server-based REST APIs. Will rely on knowledge of Kotlin, including coroutines, and Google Architecture components. Will work within Android Studio and the Android development toolchain including static analysis, network and memory profiling, automated unit and integration tests.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, electronics engineering, or software engineering. Will also accept a master’s degree in computer science, information technology, electronics engineering, or software engineering.


Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and five years of overall progressive experience in software development. Will also accept a Master’s degree and three years’ experience in software development


Skills/Requirements: 1 year of experience:

  • End-to-end software development, including requirements gathering, architecture development, collaborating cross functionally, and managing timelines of a team;
  • Android development;
  • Kotlin;
  • Mockito;
  • Junit;
  • SQLite
  • Jenkins
  • ADB
