Talent Management Coordinator

El Segundo, CA

CalTimes is looking for a Talent Management Coordinator to join our tight-knit HR Team. In this role you will contribute to the overall success of the Talent Management group by providing an outstanding quality of administrative support across the Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams. By providing elite customer service you will ensure a smooth and positive experience for not only the internal teams and hiring managers, but also all employees and potential employees of California Times.


Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with all members of the interview process including the hiring teams, recruiters, and candidates
  • Schedule hiring manager interviews as needed for candidates while fostering a meaningful candidate experience, including coordinating phone, video and in-person interviews with recruiters and hiring managers in a timely and effective manner
  • Send out interview confirmations, including video conference links or directions, to all involved parties
  • Prepare and distribute offer letters via the HRIS, communicate the process to new hires, and follow up with HR Partners and Managers on approvals
  • Launch and monitor results of background checks, communicate the process to new hires, and follow up with HR Partners regarding any discrepancies
  • Initiate hires in the HRIS and follow up with HR Partners, Managers, Finance and WD Administration on approvals
  • Utilize applicant tracking and background check vendor systems to ensure candidate status and information is current
  • Contribute to or lead other talent management projects, for example:
  • proofreading training, performance management or other employee guides or communications,
  • organizing and/or attending career fairs to engage with potential candidates
  • managing learning campaigns in the HRIS
  • drafting and sending learning campaign messages to employees
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience gained in HR, TA or TM Coordinator position.


Work Experience:

  • 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in an HR, Recruitment or Talent Management department


Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Must possess strong technical skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and/or Google (Drive, Docs, Sheets etc)
  • Must have strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Must be customer service oriented with good follow-up skills and the ability to professionally interact with all levels of management
  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, fluid work environment with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills, proven attention to detail/accuracy is required
  • Must have experience in handling confidential information appropriately
  • Takes the initiative to solve problems, maintain and improve processes, get answers to questions and maintains confidence in dealing with a variety of different parties
  • Detail-oriented problem solver, with a desire to contribute to the organization's reputation and success.
  • Previous applicant tracking systems experience preferred (Workday HRIS preferred)

The pay scale for this position is $60,000 to $70,000. This is the pay scale range the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. Compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position. Please visit our career site to view the benefits available to our employees.
