About the Team:

TikTok's parent company is seeking a Global Talent Development Manager for our growing global HR organization. The role can be based in Los Angeles, Mountain View, Seattle, Austin, or New York City. You'll work closely with several domestic and international cross-functional partners, stakeholders, and leaders. You'll have the opportunity to refine our end-to-end approach to our most important asset, HR talent, who will then be empowered to impact the organization more broadly.


This includes working on a variety of initiatives such as onboarding, career development, and leadership development. The programs delivered will not only help drive our performance-oriented culture but also bring our global HR community closer. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building capabilities for our global HR organization and employees. By way of effective partnership, identify talent development needs to contribute to the success of the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with global stakeholders and partners to develop high-impact TD solutions.
  • Design and develop talent development strategy for HR employees at all levels, focus areas including leadership development, core HR competencies, and manage multiple programs.
  • Identify creative ways to continue to revamp existing leadership development programs and offerings to engage and motivate leaders (at all levels).
  • Design innovative onboarding training to improve the new-hire experience.
  • Create talent programs with a focus on diverse talent growth needs. Examples such as boot camps, hack-a-thons, facilitated learning groups, experiential pilots, etc.
  • Be an advocate of TikTok's core values and how they can be incorporated into career growth and daily work.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing effective talent development programs that are practical, realistic, and produce measurable impact.
  • Experience working in a global tech corporation with a matrixed organizational structure is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing large, complex projects. Experience with project management preferred.
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to positively engage and motivate all learners.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex, strategic ideas or concepts in a business and user-friendly manner.
  • Familiar with the use of e-learning management systems that host e-learning materials.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset; must enjoy being in a fast-paced/evolving environment with a high level of creativity/autonomy.
