Talent Analytics Analyst

Coraopolis, PA

The Talent Analytics Analyst is responsible for transforming data into business solutions to help guide talent decisions in the organization. This incumbent will apply expert data analytics skills to "tell the story" of our investments in organizational talent. Design, build, and maintain key analyses on the entire employee life-cycle with a focus on actionable talent information to support our internal business partners.

  • Lead the collection, aggregation, analysis, and distribution of employee engagement data for the organization. Work cross-functionally to design, communicate, and report back on surveys throughout the teammate life-cycle.
  • Design, build, and maintain analyses and reports on our workforce and talent by leveraging internal and external tools focused on key performance metrics.
  • Drive the optimization of our investment in talent for the organization. Evaluate opportunities regarding compensation, training, recruiting, benefits, retention and HR programs. Deliver recommendations on our talent and investment mix providing the expected outcomes of any alterations.
  • Assist in the implementation of enhanced software, analytics, and processes to provide a clear picture of talent in the organization. Leverage these tools to create dynamic dashboards and functionality for business partners.
  • Collaborate with data owners and subject matter experts to properly capture, aggregate, and convey organizational data. Build strong partnerships with HRIS and assist with data governance and stewardship.
  • Lead and support formal / informal training for HR partners to help drive adoption of data-based decision-making and grow the overall analytical capabilities of the Human Resources function

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, Statistics, or Applied Math
  • 1-3 years of experience in Data Analysis and Visualization
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with Data visualization tools (i.e. Qlik, Tableau, MicroStrategy)
  • Experience with Data Preparation Tools a Plus (i.e. Alteryx, MS Access, SQL Databases)
  • Experience with Data Science Languages a plus (i.e. R, Python, etc.)
  • Ability to tell a story through data
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion
  • Creative Problem Solving skills
  • Strong Analytical Execution Skills
