Talent Acquisition Resource Analyst Intern

Reston, VA

Leidos is seeking a college intern to support the Dig Mod Sector Talent Acquisition team with various staffing initiatives. This position will provide the intern an opportunity to gain experience in a corporate environment and learn about Talent Acquisition. 


The intern will receive hands-on professional development in Talent Acquisition while working closely with other Human Resources functional teams on a variety of assignments. We are hiring for this position immediately. A successful candidate must be local to Reston, VA and available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support, Sector VP director, TA teams, and individual projects related to Talent Acquisition.
  • Participate in HR and Talent Acquisition team meetings, workshops/presentations, networking & professional development events.
  • Coordinate logistics, support recruitment outreach initiatives, and participate in local/regional events.
  • Provide input to our marketing and advertising initiatives to enhance our brand and presence within targeted social media outlets.
  • Engage in process improvement sessions related to Human Resources / Talent Acquisition tools and resources. 
  • Assist with file management and maintenance as well as any special projects as assigned.
  • Update recruitment systems and troubleshoot issues as directed.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Human Resources, or a related field, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Customer service oriented and demonstrated the ability to collaborate with others on projects and assignments to achieve optimal results.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint)
  • Must be flexible, proactive, organized, manage workflow, and have prompt follow-up.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills including oral and written communication with attention to detail.
  • Must be able to multitask, shift priorities, bring tasks to completion with minimal supervision, and meet varying deadlines.
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Ability to research and analyze information using the internet and reference materials.
  • Creativity in problem-solving and being able to offer alternative solutions.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Combination of strong analysis, planning, organization, and consensus-building abilities
  • Understanding/experience with staffing plan models and metrics tracking
  • Understanding of the hiring process and requirements
  • Experience with supporting various projects and initiatives.
  • Experience with coordinating, promoting, and attending events in person.
  • Demonstration of ability and motivation to support a diverse team.

Pay Range $38,350.00 - $69,325.00


The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
