Sustainability Trend Analyst

Scope, & Impact of the Position:

  • The Sustainability trend analyst will work to integrate operational sustainability into the fabric of the company by translating data to business insights and strategies, acting as a liaison between Quality Safety and Environment (QSE), Global IT (GIT), Platform Services (PS) and industry partners seeking to increase their sustainability initiatives to achieve our company sustainability goals and commitments.
  • This position is responsible for ensuring the implementation of the digitization roadmap to drive operational sustainability information across the technical field/corporate teams and building a robust organizational analytical data capability across the QSE community.
  • The job position will proactively get involved early on projects and will ensure introduction of right data structures, recognizing the need for interlinkages to other data sets allowing for more efficient integration during design, implementation, and use.
  • The scope of the work covers to ensure enterprise level internal and external accurate, best-in-class (1) reporting and trend analytics architecture, (2) governance of the data, (3) continuous improvement in the process of generating QSE metrics and advanced analytics.
  • The scope of the role is: (1) driving operational sustainability leadership including water, carbon/climate and WWW/packaging; (2) QSE data transformation, QSE performance excellence enablement.
  • The job position will play an anchor role in getting the required data management & governance modules implemented across the system. The position will have to coordinate with Platform services, GIT, Corporate QSE functional experts and external partners to ensure timely and accurate implementation of required data application modules.
  • Delivers end-to-end master data processes; designs and implements master data management solutions; provides system support and data quality governance for master data through data coordination and integration; conducts testing and system validation to troubleshoot non-routine and complex issues related to master data management and system; implements process improvements in relation to master data processes.
  • Individual contributor with global impact on operational sustainability and QSE data transformation.
  • The position will report to Gobal sustainability and transformation director. The role will require continuous connection and collaboration with all OUs, various Corporate functions like Platform services, GIT, Corporate QSE functions & company partners to ensure developing and implementing the right strategic QSE/Sustainability master data standards, dashboards, and advance analytics.
  • Implement the proper user applications and strengthen the synergies across QSE processes and platforms. Success in this role will require rapidly building and continuously maintaining expertise on data standards, apps and tools used to deliver QSE/sustainability information and sharing the expertise across the organization.
  • The strategic footprint of the role spans across QSE operations in the Operating Unit (OU) connecting all sustainability pillars, QSE metrics, enabling progress in building QSE culture and capability.
  • The role has also influential impact over the OU & enterprise QSE digital agenda and performance enablement strategy.
  • The role is responsible for supporting the global sustainability and transformation director to shape and define the OU operational sustainability and QSE Digital strategy OPEX/CAPEX decisions.
  • The goals and strategies for the role focus on short-term (1 year), mid-term (2-3 years) and long term (3+ years) development of the TI&SC Sustainability Strategy, Programs, Goals & Targets and define governance on tracking progress.


Focus Areas:

  • Analytics on Sustainability: As a key member of the Corporate QSE team support to define and steward the TI&SC sustainability strategy, commitments, initiatives, and prioritization to implement the global agenda. Ensure implementation of best in class processes for data management and governance (including but not limited to data collection, data analysis using analytics / advance analytics on key sustainability metrics) to drive sustainability commitments across water, carbon/climate and WWW/packaging.
  • QSE transformation: Support to define and manage the QSE digital transformation, act as a QSE liaison and a single point of contact with the OU enterprise like platform services & GIT to build and manage the QSE excellence performance enablement systems and programs. Manage the key QSE data for enterprise sustainability reporting, trend analytics and most optimum expansion and leverage of the KOSMOS enterprise platform. Responsible for the QSE digital and business intelligence products/services that enable the use of information and automation to improve performance that accelerates business results.
  • Governance, compliance: Ensure all sustainability data governance requirements are in place tracked and continuously improved.

Work Focus

  • Proactive, self-motivated individual who enjoys advocating for sustainability inside and outside of the company. This includes leading or supporting education initiatives for our employees, including advancing our Corporate Sustainability Reporting, as well as business development pursuits with our industry partners.
  • Drive engagement with the system partners and lead sustainability data management, strategic data trend analytics and delivering operational sustainability business insights to achieve goals.
  • Ensure the OU Sustainability reporting and trend analytics drive strategy and business insights.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the relevant performance models and systems to track risks and global mitigation plans.
  • Design and develop a continuous communication and adoption plan for the technical Master data. Works closely with Platform Services & Global IT and other Corporate Functions on QSE Data.
  • Serve as an SME and central contact point for functional groups (BU and Corporate) supporting design and implementation of new apps to execute technical processes efforts and build organizational capability around the analytical data.
  • Develop strategic recommendations around new applications that fit the technical activities scope and design communication & implementation plans.


Communication Focus

Influence and alignment with stakeholders at most senior levels internally and externally, including OU leadership, Corporate QSE leadership, System Franchise Bottling partners QSE leadership.

  • Work with internal networks – GIT, Platform Services, Public Affairs Communications and Sustainability (PACS), Procurement.
  • Deal predominately with situations where other parties have shared interests or opposing interests related to operational sustainability and/or QSE digital agenda development and implementation plans.
  • Think outside-in and is well connected, involve a broader set of stakeholders in decision making.
  • Communication, negotiation, and engagement with multiple key stakeholders to influence and gain alignment on the short- and the long- term operational sustainability strategies and investments.


Experience

Experience in leading data driven strategy development, data governance, change management. Proven successful track record in persuasive leadership, managing diverse, remote teams. Technical/QSE and or Data Analytics, >5 years with at least 2 years in data analytics roles.


Functional Skills

  • Data analytics, big data driven trend analysis, strategy and business insights development
  • Working experience with relational databases, information and insights
  • Proven experience in delivering Master Data Management, Data Governance
  • Experience with visualization software (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Proven experience with Office 365 apps, Alteryx, Picasso, iTECH, KOSMOS
  • Experience leveraging cloud platforms and developing in SQL
  • Superior critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
