Sustainability Analyst

Our Customer is the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners, defense, space, and security systems, and service provider of aftermarket support. As America’s biggest manufacturing exporter, the company supports airlines and U.S. and allied government customers in more than 150 countries. Their products and tailored services include commercial and military aircraft, satellites, weapons, electronic and defense systems, launch systems, advanced information and communication systems, and performance-based logistics and training.


We are seeking a Sustainability Analyst on a contract basis to help support our customer’s ongoing business needs.


What You’ll Do:

  • Conducts data analysis to research, benchmark, and analyze current sustainability trends and progress on environmental, social, and governance matters.
  • Facilitates development and implementation of business sustainability strategy, best practices, opportunities, goals, reporting, standards, and policies.
  • Conducts work to mitigate business risks and advance environmental, social, and governance-related objectives.
  • Performs forecasting, target setting, budgeting, procurement, bill pay, data management, and reporting.
  • Leads coordination of capital conservation projects and conservation initiatives at designated sites.
  • Participates in the integration and deployment of enterprise sustainability strategic marketing messaging, engagement initiatives, and training in partnership with business units and functions.


Must Haves:

  • 6 or more years of related work experience.
  • 4 or more years of related work experience.
  • Must have analytical Skills (Technical).
  • Can establish/Manages Partnerships.
  • Knowledgeable of Government Laws/Regulations.
  • Knowledgeable Public Policy Awareness.
  • Must have sustainability domain knowledge.
  • Must have Systems Thinking skills.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Hours & Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be remote while COVID restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be onsite at our Customer’s Tukwila, WA office.
