Supervisor Pharmacy Services
The Supervisor of Pharmacy Services will report to the Manager, Pharmacy Hospital Operations, and will work closely with the Supervisor of Pharmacy Services for Oncology and Oncology/Infusion Services at the Anschutz Medical Campus, to strategize and standardize workflow and communication through all Investigational Drug Service, and Oncology/Infusion areas in the Metro Denver Region. This individual will be responsible for the daily operations, and oversight, of the: University of Colorado Hospital Investigational Drug Service - Inpatient/Outpatient and Oncology (Aurora, CO), Cherry Creek Medical Center Infusion Pharmacy (Denver, CO), Highlands Ranch Medical Center Infusion Pharmacy (Highlands Ranch, CO), and Lone Tree Medical Center Infusion Pharmacy (Lone Tree, CO), and areas serviced by these Pharmacies. Operations and oversight will include the recruitment, hiring, supervision, and evaluation of staff - Pharmacy Technicians, Investigational Drug Specialists and Pharmacists. Additionally, ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulations, and execution of Pharmacy Strategic Plans and Objectives in collaboration Pharmacy Leadership. Front line staffing may/will be necessary to ensure daily operations are not negatively impacted.
We are looking for a team oriented, adaptable to change, detailed, decisive, and experienced pharmacist, preferably with a background in Investigational Drug Service Pharmacy, EPIC (including EPIC Beacon), and leadership to join our Team to provide and improved pharmacy services.
Work Schedule: Full Time, 80 hours/pay period, Days
- Determines, coordinates, and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels. Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
- Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs.
- Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
- Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
- Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Pharmacist.
- Minimum Experience: 2 years of post-graduate experience.

The pay range for this position is: $54.31 - $81.47 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
