We’re looking for strategic Web producers who love to get their hands dirty! You’re going to be working on some of the best event web pages in the world. No really! We build the site for the largest and best user conference in the world: Dreamforce. And... so many more events, globally.
We want someone who can both strategize and execute. We want you to step back to understand the goals of business units and their digital portfolios, their KPIs and turn that into an actionable plan of attack. Then we want you to lean in to bring it to life in our CMS’ (Adobe Experience Manager, Wordpress) addressing technical blockers, and ensuring we follow best practices for responsive design, SEO, CRO, user experience & accessibility.
You demonstrate your criticality to our business stakeholders by helping define the strategy for the events business portfolio. This position will work with key partners and stakeholders to understand and create digital touchpoints within a prospect and customer journey, build and optimize web content and bring to life other initiatives such as events campaigns.
This role requires an individual who is skilled at bringing together cross-functional business partners to connect to business goals, proactively improve upon existing web content, and drive conversion through testing and data/analytics. The ideal candidate is proactive in all aspects of the role and possesses excellent ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage UX best practices, research, performance data from other digital properties and data from our analytics sources (Tableau, Datastudio, GA, etc.) to develop, update & complete strategic plans regarding website and webpage requests
- Develop digital KPIs in partnership with the lines of business, create a strategy to improve digital experiences to meet those goals and make those changes. Examples of KPIs are:
- Strategic: increasing marketing driven pipe, increasing lead generation, improving organic search performance, improving click through rate, reducing bounce rate, improving form fill, and more
- Tactical: implementing SEO & accessibility best practices, multi device performance, time on site, scroll depth, and more
- Build and maintain websites and webpages quickly and with impeccable quality in multiple enterprise-level content management systems (AEM, Page Builder, Wordpress). Specifically but not exhaustively, build and maintain websites & webpages for:
- Strategic Events portfolio: Multi day paid events websites, Free events websites, Community events websites, event routing pages, Salesforce+ backup pages and more
- Salesforce+ portfolio: Make changes on our flagship virtual events platform and events hub
- and others as required.
- As experts in the CMS technologies - their function, limitations and roadmaps - advise:
- Designers by adapting their designs to work within our tools' capabilities
- Lines of business by reviewing what is realistic to achieve in relevant timeframes
- Product managers by creating a prioritized set of requests and clear requirements for CMS enhancements
- Comfortable running projects and efforts independently include scope management, schedule management, quality management, risk management and stakeholder management. Examples might include migrating a page/ property from one CMS to another, internal training initiative, proof of concept exploration, etc.
- Ensure the highest level of Digital accessibility across our portfolio
- Work with event requestors to orchestrate experiments (A/B testing, event over event tests, etc.) to ensure improved page, website and KPI performance
- Advise lines of business on experimentation and testing opportunities and priorities; Then work with the relevant teams to ensure these are run, results collated and findings implemented
Requirements:
- Understanding of key web metrics and levers to pull to optimize experiences, with demonstrable experience in creating and implementing improvements that drove improvements
- Experience hand-coding semantically correct HTML and CSS in an enterprise CMS environment (Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, OpenCMS, Joomla, Drupal, Sitecore, etc.).
- 7 - 10 years of experience in web production.
- Ability to solve technical problems logically and systematically.
- Ability to work against tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and work on multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously.
- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to “turn on a dime”, think through problems to come up with innovative solutions and deliver against very tight deadlines while keeping a keen eye on detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of digital/website production standard processes, information architecture, user experience, interaction design, visual design initiatives, analytics, A/B testing, development, QA, and how those pieces come together.
- Nice to have certifications in google analytics, SEO, CRO, experimentation with Optimizely or digital marketing

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $132,800 to $182,600. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
