Sr Sustainability Analyst

Boise, ID

Reporting to the Sustainability Director, you will work across all locations to manage and analyze sustainability programs.  This position may be 100% remote.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to Sales and Customer requests for information, capabilities, surveys, and compliance related to sustainability areas.
  • Manage and improve environmental data collection processes by collaborating with internal partners
  • Create complex environmental databases and applicable sustainability dashboards
  • Develop performance metrics, baselines, and targets to drive emission reduction programs
  • Track, analyze and report GHG inventory and progress against our targets using business information software and other tools/technologies
  • Continuously improve environmental data quality and refine accounting methodologies. This includes collaborating with teams to collect more accurate data, and developing new methodologies, processes, and standards to drive more robust impact measurement
  • Support and execute annual environmental metrics audit project by working with internal partners and external audit firm to assure the data for accuracy for stakeholder consumption
  • Manage sustainability reporting project
  • Manage customer survey and data inquiry requests
  • Assess, and implement software solutions to automate, visualize and analyze data across
  • Perform scenario and ad-hoc analyses to inform sustainability strategies and opportunities for the most meaningful reductions
  • Use internal software applications to source, cleanse and analyze a variety of greenhouse gas and spend data.
  • Serve as focal lead on the compilation, analysis, and trend identification of sustainability activities identified by operations teams to improve business sustainability performance.
  • Help translate a variety of technical information on emerging topics to our teams.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in environmental science, forestry or related natural resource discipline or a combination of education and 5+ years of work-related experience in forestry, environmental science, sustainability management, or other related natural resource fields required.

 

Preferred Qualifications: Formal presentation experience preferred.
