Location/Division Specific Information

This position is part of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD), which develops, manufactures, and markets blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma, and autoimmune diseases. With 1,500 employees worldwide, IDD is the global leader in vitro allergy testing and the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics.


How will you make an impact?

You will own IDD’s global social media program - developing, implementing, and driving our multi-channel ecosystem. You may be the right person if you are an experienced social marketer with a curiosity about the healthcare industry, who is data-driven, forward thinking, and strategic.


What will you do?

  • Lead global social efforts —developing and overseeing the execution of paid and organic tactics from inception to completion, providing mentorship to regional teams, and coordinating implementation of global campaigns at the local level to ensure consistent execution
  • Accurately forecast and lead multi-channel performance and a global budget —providing data-driven recommendations on investment and allocations across both regions and channels to increase impact
  • Own annual social program planning for multiple audiences and persona types across the globe
  • Manage the creation and execution of social media content, and monitor various channels for 9+ countries
  • Build and maintain relationships with regional marketing teams around the world - work alongside these teams to define their goals, priorities, and testing agendas for always-on programs
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Adhere to and enforce social tone & voice, creative standards, as well as content approval and branding guidelines


How will you get here?

Education

  • Bachelors degree required


Experience

  • 5+ years social media and digital marketing experience preferred
  • Experience building, implementing, and scaling impactful social media programs (organic and paid) in multiple geographies for both B2C and B2B audiences
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Experience presenting performance metrics and progress to senior leadership
  • Demonstrated success working on multidisciplinary teams and collaborating in an international environment preferred
  • Proficient using Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and various reporting dashboards.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Identify trends in data from various social channels and analytics suites/dashboards to turn them into actionable insights
  • Serve as a subject matter authority on all social channels, strategies, tactics, and trends
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable juggling multiple, concurrent projects and campaigns with tight deadlines
  • Able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels of the business and to various partner groups, both in writing and verbally
  • Proven track record to operate independently, take initiative, be resourceful, and exercise astute business judgment to drive performance
  • Ambition to learn new about new channels and abilities with the digital ecosystem
  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics a plus, but not required
  • Must have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written presentation skills in English
