Sr Software Engineer

Orlando, FL

Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a passion for building world-class products and a desire to delight Disney Cruise Line guests with exciting digital experiences. Our team believes in autonomy, empowerment, and partnership. We are consumer focused and strive to deliver the best possible experience to our users.


Responsibilities

  • Work with Business, Product, Creative, and Technical partners to develop engaging consumer-facing web applications
  • Engineer solutions, code web applications, resolve defects, & incidents performance tune, deploy code, and other activities associated with developing a website
  • Participate in team scrums and other agile process/ceremony


Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional web development experience
  • Experience with web development frameworks & tools, such as Angular, React, WebStorm, VS Code, Git, Jenkins, Node, and AWS
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS/SASS/LESS, HTML, and REST


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Angular, React/Vue, or other modern web frameworks
  • Experience with DevOps, toolchains, pipelines, Git, and bundling tools
  • Experience with AWS, in general, and AWS Serverless products
  • Experience with digital asset management tools, content management tools, and complex websites


Required Education

  • 5+ years of professional web development experience
