Sr. SEO Analyst

Irvine, CA

Western Digital offers an expansive portfolio of technologies, storage devices, systems and solutions for business and consumers alike. 


The Sr. SEO Analyst will build the vision and strategy for growing our SEO presence on the web. You will guide the content strategy team on the development of evergreen content for solutions, products and use cases to help grow traffic, engagement and conversion. You will be inserted in content development from start to finish and help optimize content and pages to best performance. 


The Sr. SEO Analyst will have a deep understanding of web, SEO best practices and latest content trends. You will partner with international and multidisciplinary teams like Analytics, Content Marketing and Product to identify and act on growth opportunities.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and build an SEO content strategy for priority products, solutions and industries
  • Lead keyword research in coordination with various teams on their business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
  • Work with content creators on conducting SEO reviews and guide them on SEO best practices
  • Regularly audit and report back on performance of high priority keywords and pages across all business lines


Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  •  At least 5 years working on SEO preferably in the tech industry
  • Strong understating of search engines, competitor analysis, best practices for developing evergreen content, search engine algorithms and latest updates and trends
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for optimizing content and web journeys
  • Experience using industry-leading SEO tools
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with high performing team members to achieve business goals
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to make timely decisions, anticipate problems and provide creative solutions
