Sr. Retail Operations Manager

About the Role:

The Senior Operations Manager will lead & be fully responsible for the operational infrastructure and its day-to-day functionality of our direct retail channel across the Americas region.

  • Lead, develop, and continually evaluate our standard operating procedures for all direct retail formats
  • Ensure we are operationally equipped to deliver a consistent and frictionless customer experience
  • Responsible for managing the operational expense budget leading general planning, cost optimization efforts, vendor relationships, contract management, etc. 
  • Own the communication program to our stores/retail employees by ensuring clear, concise, and timely distribution of information
  • Responsible for owning and maintaining all operational documents including policy, procedure, etc. 
  • Responsible for all retail audits and compliance requirements
  • Responsible for owning all IT infrastructure/systems maintenance, upgrades, etc.
  • Responsible for managing all operational data, preparing and managing reports, providing analysis, identifying opportunities for optimization/providing solutions to problems
  • Responsible for supporting our full day-to-day inventory management program
  • Ensure readiness and operationally support the launch of all new retail formats
  • Lead and be fully accountable for all global retail operations implementation initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships and represent retail operations on all projects
  • Work in partnership with the education team to ensure all operational training is created and delivered as required by the business
  • Work in collaboration with store managers and cross-functional partners to capture feedback and continually improve programs to support various in-store initiatives


About You:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years experience in a corporate retail operations role leading a team
  • Previous experience as a successful retail district or store manager
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with SAP highly desired
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects, tight deadlines, and changing priorities
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Innovative and forward thinker with the ability to articulate point of view, improve processes, and proactively solve complex problems
  • Ability to influence and build relationships
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
