Sr Marketing Communications Manager

Location: San Jose, CA or Boise, ID

Micron’s Compute and Networking Business Unit (CNBU) is looking for a Marketing Communications leader to focus on our outbound marketing activities. This person must have a deep understanding of DRAM memory as well as data center software and hardware technology infrastructure. They will be responsible for crafting product, segment and technology strategic marketing communications plans, as well as providing day to day support and integration with business unit key partners to the broader Global Communications and Marketing (GCM) team. This person will be essential for developing appropriate thought leadership content to help drive CNBU’s overall messaging. This role will report to the Director, Strategic Portfolio Planning and will partner across CNBU as well as our corporate GCM team. This position is being offered in San Jose, CA or Boise, ID.

Experience Required:

Deep domain expertise in the Data Center (Cloud/Enterprise architecture, “future Data Center”, memory and storage integration) with technologies, industry trends, and thought leadership
Proven experience with DRAM memory (DDR4/5, CXL, GDDR, HBM, etc.)
Familiarity with Client and Graphics segment technologies as well as industry trends a plus
Show an understanding of integrated marketing
Proven experience with agility and speed in decision making
Demonstrate strong project management skills
Ability to develop cross-functional communication and build relationships
Be an advocate for diversity and inclusion

Minimum Qualifications:

10+ years of overall Marketing, Communications, and Content Creation
5+ years of experience in strategy and technology positions
5+ years working in memory and storage technology
Degree/Major: Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Engineering
Ability to work across functions and groups
Ability to manage various projects simultaneously
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
