Requirements

Ideally, you will have IT technical skills:

  • 7+ years of experience managing all aspects of an IT company for creative, production advertising, marketing, or media teams.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines preferred. Applicable experience levels may be considered
  • 5+ years’ experience with Microsoft Windows server operating systems.
  • Senior level knowledge and troubleshooting skills in the following areas: Windows Server OS, VMWare, SQL Server, Windows Desktop OS, Mac OSX, 0365, Google Suite Applications, Terminal Services, HP Storage Area Networks, MFA, PC and Macintosh Hardware.
  • Adobe Creative Suite, Type Applications such as Universal Type Client vs. Adobe fonts, Font licensing for desktop and web. Digital Asset management system. Latest hardware updates. Operational/Project skills are a plus.
  • All Applications, Servers, Printers and Font conflicts and Mac operating systems
  • Knowledge and troubleshooting skills in Linux.
  • Knowledge and experience in setting up cloud-based web hosting environments.
  • Knowledge and troubleshooting skills on Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Advanced knowledge of VSphere for VMWare management.
  • Advance knowledge of industry tools and services used to mitigate Cyber Security Risk.
  • Advanced knowledge of Active Directory and security controls.
  • Ability to write batch jobs, scripts, and database queries.
  • General knowledge of other industry collaboration tools (Skills Workflow, Zoom, Adobe, Docusign, Slack, etc.).

The Senior Manager, Information Technology is responsible to provide hands-on IT support to GSD&M agency operations, clients, and employees. In this role, you will analyze, plan, and execute information technology-related activities and operations. You will define and implement localized IT policies and procedures in accordance with industry best practices in and parent company IT guidelines. At times, you will partner with key stakeholders to evaluate, select, and implement existing and emerging technologies. You will oversee the local IT infrastructure, manage IT projects, IT risk management, IT Sox compliance, and IT policy compliance functions.  


As a Sr. Manager of IT at GSD&M you will:

  • Work with internal agency stakeholders, Omnicom, and others to execute IT policies and workflows to deliver a seemliness experience to our stakeholders.
  • Application management includes local and cloud applications Microsoft O365 Suite, Google Suite/Apps, Jira, SaaS, Media Research Tools, Vendor Management and SharePoint systems.
  • Support the Digital Development and Analytic Teams for domain registration for Web projects, SSL certificates and Web hosting (AWS and others).
  • Manage new IT vendor or application and spend request set up.
  • Manage IT operating expense and capital budgets and renewals, invoicing
  • Partner with managing leads for outsourced desktop support services to ensure that KPIs and services levels are being met and issues resolved efficiently and timely
  • Oversee all help desk activities and are responsible for all locations within the organization 
  • Oversee Infrastructure activities responsible for the locations within the organization
  • Ensure that Infrastructure’s responsibilities including network stability, efficiency, and security are maintained at proper standards.
  • Ensure office connectivity – private network, guest network and WIFI is always online and operational. Immediate follow-up and resolution of reported outages.  
  • Maintain that all infrastructure duties
  • Maintain system security and enforce antivirus, Windows updates, hot fixes, and patches.
  • Immediately address reported vulnerability reports provided to mitigate Cyber Security Risk.
  • Oversee the IT function within the agency to ensure compliance with Omnicom and Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Responsible for research, development, and deployment of assigned projects as it relates to changing technology.
  • Bring new technology to the forefront by seeking out alternatives to enhance our core business.
  • Work directly with the Development Team on client projects.
  • Actively participates and leads project teams, coordinates internal and external collaborations and other ad-hoc IT projects.
